We are growing and need a Scripter to join our dynamic team. Scripters interface with Clients' business & technical representatives and OpenLink Business Analysts to determine requirements, then produce and test high quality scripts that effectively meet the Client’s business and functional needs. The complexity of some scripts will require a high level of technical and functional understanding and proficiency. Flexibility and European travel essential.
QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
- 1.5+ years of producing scripts for Banking or Energy/Commodity business operations
- The ability to understand business requirements and processes involved in creating a bespoke solution
- A demonstrable track-record of producing properly functioning Scripts to appropriate standards, on-time and on-budget
- Knowledge of AVS scripting an advantage, but training can be given
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Knowledge of programming in Java and/or a C-based Visual Scripting Language
- Crystal Reports useful
- NT and/or UNIX
- Experience with relational databases, including Sybase & Oracle
- Knowledge of SQL
