OpenLink's Worldwide 2005 User Conference Equals Success
Florida and OpenLink Host 170 Worldwide Delegates
MIAMI, FL, February 28, 2005 /Business Wire/ — OpenLink, an energy and financial trading risk management software solutions leader, proudly announced the success of its 2005 User Conference in Miami, Florida's Eden Roc Resort. The annual conference was held February 9-11 and, as always, had a unique theme to benefit the delegates from the financial or energy communities. This year, the goal was to focus on leveraging relationships, strengthening communication, and adding value. With this objective, the groundwork was laid for a successful conference.
Traditionally, this conference strives to join theory with real-world applications by allowing users to meet, exchange best practices, and walk away with a better understanding of how OpenLink's solutions help address today's trading, risk management and operational challenges. Each of the one hundred seventy worldwide delegates who came to the conference was given the opportunity to participate in three days of interactive meetings, peer networking, and social events.
Coleman Fung, founder and CEO of OpenLink noted, "This year's User Conference surely surpassed those of previous years. From our OpenLink representatives to the worldwide delegates, the group was well-informed, interested in our products, and eager to meet one another, greet one another and simply have a great time. A conference with such positive energy as this is why it was by far our most successful to date."
