OpenLink Lands on "Long Island Technology Fast 50" List

Deloitte & Touche Selects OpenLink Fifth Among Long Island's Fastest Growing Technology Firms

Mitchel Field, NY - October 22, 2002 OpenLink Financial LLC (OpenLink), an industry leader in energy and financial trading and risk management software solutions, has been named by Deloitte & Touche Technology, as one of the 50 fastest growing technology companies on Long Island.

Ranked number five on the list, OpenLink accepted its award during the 6th Annual Long Island Technology Fast 50 Awards ceremony on October 18. The Fast 50 program, coordinated by the Deloitte & Touche Technology, Media & Telecommunications practice, identifies and publicly recognizes the fastest growing technology companies in 20 regions in the U.S. and in Canada.

To qualify for the Fast 50, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 1997 and $1,000,000 in 2001, must be public or private organizations headquartered on Long Island, and must be "technology focused," that is, they must be defined as companies that own proprietary technology which contributes to a significant portion of the operating revenues or devotes a high percentage of effort to research and development of technology.

Coleman Fung, founder and CEO of OpenLink, credits the company's 580.22% total revenue growth from 1997 to 2001 to the dedication of all OpenLink employees worldwide and to a strategic, organic growth plan. Fung stated, "We are delighted to accept this award and to be recognized as one of Long Island's fastest growing technology firms. OpenLink's expansion during these years is a market affirmation of our efforts to provide users with a complete straight-through-processing trading, risk management, and operations software. It has been, and will continue to be a team effort as we face new challenges and expand our global reach."
