Connex Integration Services

Want to streamline your business process or need support with strategic e-business-driven initiatives? Connex Integration Services can help. Connex, an XML-based Grid enabled services layer, combines a robust and flexible development environment with a seamless integration component to OpenLink's Market Solutions.

Connex is ideally suited for implementation in SOA's (Service Oriented Architectures) with its standard XML services as well as tools to extend and create custom XML services. The optional development SDK delivers custom Java processing, XML transformations and reference data mapping facilities.

Several options for transportation gateways— including JMS, MQ Series, Tibco Rendezvous, and Web Services— are available on Connex. In addition to data mapping and transformation tools, Connex provides integration reconciliation and deploys with a message exception handling to handle integration exceptions.

Connex's Gateway Builder provides a drag-and-drop interface for Integration building. The graphical interface provides the ability to tie in Interface sources and synch them to Connex Gateways. The Connex Gateway Builder provides effortless creation of Interfaces, handling import Integration requirements such as data mapping, integration auditing, data reconciliation, and exception handling. As a robust e-commerce tool, Connex has been designed and built to support the most critical technology requirements: scalability, availability, reliability, and security.

Scalability

Incorporating advanced load-balancing capabilities, the Connex Server can manage any number of Connex Engines. As demands for Connex services increase, you can incrementally add engines and computing facilities to the production environment "on-the-fly."

Availability & Reliability

Supporting multiple "hot-backup" server configurations, Connex provides fault-tolerant options for any production requirement. Combined with built-in certified-messaging capabilities, Connex guarantees that all job requests and responses are received and processed in a truly reliable runtime environment.

Security

With the ability to encrypt both requests and responses, authenticate individual job requests and configure auditing logs, Connex can support the most stringent security requirements of internal, Intranet or Internet applications.

Connex Server and Engine Executables, Load Testing Programs, Data Type Definition Files, Java Classes for all supported methods, Java and XML examples, as well as documentation (Programming Guide and User Guide/Online Help) all come as standard.
